We are looking for a Site Superintendent for land subdivision projects and civil infrastructure.
You will primarily be involved in performing the role of Superintendency under a variety of standard contracts (typically modified AS2124 or AS4000).
We have a significant pipeline of projects in construction or about to start, across Sydney, Central Coast, and Newcastle regions.
You will be required to:
- Arrange and chair site meetings;
- Issue all forms of contractual correspondence, including assessing claims;
- Have a solid understanding of construction practices and be able to direct work in the field;
- Work with the design team to resolve RFI’s;
- Work with Council and other stakeholders;
- Keep detailed site records;
- Undertake site inspections. Experience in water and sewer inspections would be highly regarded;

- Travel to site.
The role could potentially be expanded to lead our Contract Administration team.
The role would suit someone with previous experience working with a Civil Consultancy.

ABOUT THE ROLES
We are looking for:
Engineers within their final year of their degree in 2021 or 2022.
Working within a team, you will primarily be involved in undertaking engineering aspects of projects, from concept through to delivery.
It is anticipated you would work through the university break with the opportunity to continue working 1 to 2 days through the university semesters.
You will be provided on the job training to review and provide technical input into plans, prepare reports, contracts, technical specifications and schedules.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To apply for this role you will:
- Eligible for a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent at the end of 2021 or 2022;
- Possess excellent communication skills;
- Some experience in engineering software, such as 12D, CAD, MUSIC and XP Rafts would be beneficial but not critical;
- Have a strong work ethic and willing to learn.
