SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

About You

We are looking for a Site Superintendent for land subdivision projects and civil infrastructure.
You will primarily be involved in performing the role of Superintendency under a variety of standard contracts (typically modified AS2124 or AS4000).
We have a significant pipeline of projects in construction or about to start, across Sydney, Central Coast, and Newcastle regions.
You will be required to:
- Arrange and chair site meetings;
- Issue all forms of contractual correspondence, including assessing claims;
- Have a solid understanding of construction practices and be able to direct work in the field;
- Work with the design team to resolve RFI’s;
- Work with Council and other stakeholders;
- Keep detailed site records;
- Undertake site inspections. Experience in water and sewer inspections would be highly regarded;
- Assess Contract Inspection and Test Plans, Safe Work method Statement, programs and construction programs;
- Travel to site.
The role could potentially be expanded to lead our Contract Administration team.
The role would suit someone with previous experience working with a Civil Consultancy.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

With the wide variety of land development projects ADW Johnson is involved with, there will be an opportunity to prepare many types of plans related to engineering (civil, structural, water, and sewer), planning and surveying.
Reporting directly to the Drafting Coordinator some of your responsibilities will include:
- Plan drafting and communicating with the supervisor in relation to job status;
- Liaising with your supervisor and other staff in relation to workload planning and drafting instructions; and
- Completing quality assurance checklists.
