ADWJ Grand Prix 2021 – We have a New Champion!
The ADW Johnson Go Kart Grand Prix was back for 2021 after a year’s hiatus (thanks COVID) and a new Champion has been crowned – ‘Zoomin’ Zach Jarvie!
Last week, 23 racers from our Hunter and Central Coast offices put the pedal-to-the-metal at Cameron Park Raceway. We couldn’t have asked for better conditions – the track was dry, the weather was warm and the aroma of four-stroke was in the air!
In a tightly contested final session, Zoomin’ Zach (1st) set the pace, beating out reigning champion Jarrod ‘Wheel’s Up’ Widdison (2nd), and podium stalwarts ‘Motorhead’ Mark (3rd), Robert 'Nearly' Champness (4th) and Lincoln ‘Gear Grinder’ Gibbs not far behind. ‘Skyrocket’ Scott Robinson kept pressure on the leading pack but was unfortunate to miss the podium.
