Congratulations to the McCloy Group - Stevens Group Joint Venture for obtaining DA approval for the first 354 lots of The Loxford residential development!
After years of work, it’s great to be one step closer to providing a new vibrant community to house the expanding Hunter population. The Loxford forms part of the ongoing legacy of the Hydro Aluminium Kurri Kurri Smelter and buffer lands. At 2,000ha the site spans across two LGA’s and encompasses circa 2,000 residential allotments, a business park and industrial land, all coupled with a focus on environmental conservation through preserving 800ha of conservation land. A network of public art, public open space, active transport connections and ancillary uses will also be delivered to support the community.
