On behalf of Stockland, ADW Johnson prepared concept and detailed design for civil works at Altrove Park, a statement park for the region that attracts visitors from well outside the immediate suburbs. ADW Johnson added value by providing:
- Concept civil design to support the Development Application, integrating the surrounding road and making use of natural terrain;
- Design of extensive hard landscaping including stairs, retaining, forecourts, amenities building and cooking/eating areas;
- Stormwater design to ensure nuisance flow were diverted from key sites into the downstream drainage network;
- Overall stormwater master planning of the nearby bio-retention basins;
- Utility service coordination;
- Management of bulk earthworks across the site.
