Kinross Industrial Estate

ADW Johnson has provided project management, engineering, superintendency, water and sewer design and planning services to assist with the delivery of a large Industrial Estate adjacent to the Weathertex Factory and Heatherbrae Bypass for our valued client CABP Group Pty Ltd

Our Involvement

ADWJ undertook Project Management, Planning, Water and Sewer Infrastructure Design and Survey Services for a large Industrial Development within the Port Stephens LGA at Heatherbrae yielding approximately 132 large industrial lots across approximately 100ha of industrial zoned land. The land is adjacent to the M12RT Bypass at Heatherbrae which required ongoing liaison with TfNSW to ensure a coordinated approach and outcome for servicing and construction management at the interface between both projects.

The development has utilised both low pressure sewer and conventional gravity sewer to service the lots, together with the construction of a new wastewater pumping station. Relocation of the high integrity optic fibre was also undertaken which required coordination with Telstra and TfNSW to ensure communication services were not interrupted to high end users.

Given the large amount of sandy material that had to be moved across the site and either side of Masonite Rd, a dredging operation was adopted to allow pumping of sand under Masonite Rd, which meant there was no need for truck movements across the busy Masonite Rd, which resulted in a very efficient bulk earthworks operation.
