Last week, Emma Tinlin from ADW Johnson participated in the Maths In Surveying Day at The University of Newcastle, alongside local surveying professionals. Emma dedicated her time to engaging high school students in various activities that highlighted the exciting world of surveying:
Exploring photogrammetry: how video referees make onside/offside decisions
Mini Olympics: using surveying techniques to determine world records in shotput
Measuring height differences: comparing level, jigger, and GPS methods
Showcasing interesting and cutting-edge surveying projects
