Camden BP
BP Service Station, Camden
BP Service station consisting of four (4) bowsers, fuel canopy, 2 storey building including ground floor convenience store and first floor office, and associated signage including 6m pylon sign.
This was an interesting site located within a heritage conservation area, adjacent to heritage items, at the entrance to Camden Town Centre, upon flood prone land. Despite the fact that the site had previously been utilised a Service Station, the development application received a number of submissions – particularly in relation to heritage. As such, the application was determined by the Regional Planning Panel.
Through thorough planning and design, the DA was lodged February 2018 and Approved December 2018, a turnaround of just 10 months.
ADW were responsible for the coordination of subconsultants; preparation of the Stormwater Management Plan, Concept Engineering Plans and Statement of Environment Effects; responding to Council’s request for information, and management of the application with Council through to approval.
