Newcastle Private Hospital
The Newcastle Private Hospital expansion project involved the development of a new seven-storey hospital building within the John Hunter Health Precinct. The project was a Part 3A (now Part 5) development for which ADW Johnson was the leading consultant. As part of our project responsibilities, ADW Johnson led a team of 14 professional consultants to address a wide range of environmental and statutory constraints. Due to extensive growth of the hospital, the project approval required modification in 2015 which ADW Johnson also coordinated and led successfully.
ADW Johnson's role in the project included the following:
- Ongoing consultation with Newcastle City Council and the NSW Department of Planning;
- Procurement of Directror-General's Environmental Assessment Requirements;
- Project management of team of professional consultants for concept approval and subsequent modifications;
- Prepareation of well-documented Environmental Assessment Report; and
- Documentation and applicaiton for subsequent modificaitons to approval.
