ADW Johnson provided Town Planning and Engineering services to Johnson Property Group on their 23 hectare residential/resort development and 188 berth marina. Encircled by forest and lake and surrounded by water on three sides, this luxury lakeside sanctuary bestows an extraordinary level of exclusive amenity. Engineering
ADW Johnson provided civil design, the stormwater management strategy, services design and reporting to support the concept plan modification and the function centre/hotel Development Application.
The site required careful consideration of service placement and hydraulic grading to ensure services were fully integrated into the architectural designs. Particular attention was given to managing stormwater flows from the development to ensure protection of water quality into Lake Macquarie, as well as ensuring proposed development was not flood impacted from the lake itself.
Town Planning
ADW Johnson were integrally involved in assisting Johnson Property Group secure Major Project Concept Approval for the Trinity Point Mixed Use and Marina Development.
As the lead planners, ADW Johnson coordinated input from a multi-disciplinary team for the preparation of the:
- Environmental Impact Statement.
- Development Applications for the marina and the function centre, restaurant and hotel.
- Modification to the concept approval, in conjunction with Squillace Architects.
Development Applications are currently under preparation for tourist and residential apartment buildings as part of the ongoing realisation of the Concept Approval.
The time critical nature of this project meant that several applications were lodged concurrently, and ADW Johnson excelled at ensuring consistency between the various team in delivering what will be a landmark project for Lake Macquarie. For further details visit http://www.trinitypoint.com.au .
